House Rules
What we expect of everyone on-site.
These rules keep the LAN fun, safe, and predictable for everyone. By registering for a uSoLan event you confirm you've read and agree to them.
Age
You must be 16 or older to attend on your own. Under-16s are welcome when accompanied by a guardian who is also registered.
Be kind
- No harassment, slurs, or discriminatory behaviour — towards anyone, in voice, text, or in person.
- Respect the venue, the crew, and your fellow players. Crew decisions are final on-site.
- If something feels off, talk to a crew member. We'd rather hear about it early.
Gear and the network
- Bring your own PC, peripherals, and a power strip. Tables are provided; chairs follow your seat type.
- Network is gigabit wired. No Wi-Fi access points, routers, or DHCP servers — they break the LAN for everyone.
- Don't run scans, exploits, or anything that disrupts the network. Repeated offences = you'll be asked to leave.
Food, drinks, and the venue
- Food ordered via /order is collected at the crew counter when you're notified it's ready.
- Drinks (including alcohol) are sold at the crew counter — paid from your wallet, same as everything else.
- Don't bring outside alcohol. Soft drinks and snacks are fine in reasonable amounts.
- Keep your area tidy. There's a bin near the entrance — use it.
Cheating
Any form of cheating in tournaments — aimbots, wallhacks, macros for an unfair edge, account sharing — results in disqualification from the tournament and possibly from future events.
Cancellations
Self-cancellation isn't available right now. If you can no longer attend, contact an admin — they can remove your registration and (where applicable) refund what you've paid into your wallet. Refunds are not guaranteed within 7 days of doors open.
Final note
Crew can ask anyone breaking these rules to leave without a refund. We've never had to. Let's keep it that way.
